Silicone Huge Gold Pyrite Crystal Soap / Candle Mould

Please note: You are receiving the mould, not the finished product. Your mould may be a different colour to the image shown.

Poke a tiny hole in the mould and add a wick and you can use the mould for candles too.

To create a soap similar to the images:

Simply rub/brush the inside of your mold with Renascent gold shimmers, color your Renascent opaque or transparent soap yellow to look like Pyrite and pour into the mold. Allow to set & unmold. If you wish to create some ‘inclusions’ add a little scattering of black dye, green tea or botanicals to give the impression of specks within the Pyrite. Alternatively, you could add the gold shimmers into the soap before pouring, although this will not produce quite a ‘solid’ gold appearance.

The one above was made by pouring the soap, unmoulding, then dry brushing the Renascent Gold Shimmer powder all over the soap.

If desired you can opaque soap to create more definition or a transparent to create translucence.

If you wish to give a ‘rock’ base to your gem, pour color up to base line of crystals, then add a layer of white / grey at the base. If you find you are getting a slip between the 2, spray lightly with alcohol or witch hazel in between pours.

To create a more crystalline appearance, chop the soap and place in mold then pour melted soap around it.
